We are an emerging software consulting and development company focusing on developing business process management applications. While we are a small company, software that we developed is being used by fortune 500 corporations and large organizations.

We have a need to hire a Project Manager who will serve as a liaison between the client's system engineering team and our software development center in China. Duties will be performed on site with one of our customers in Phoenix. Major responsibilities for this position include:

1. Manage the on-time delivery of project deliverables to customers and provide leadership and advice to customers;
2. Perform extensive quality control throughout the whole product development life cycle;
3. Define and ensure the use of quality software development processes and methodologies;
4. Define, analyze and document project scope, requirements, system design and delivery schedules;
5. Manage client expectations;
6. Assist in capitalizing on new business development opportunities with both existing and potential customers.

Required skills:

1. 5+ years project management experience;
2.

Hands-on design and development experience with Microsoft .NET development framework;
3. Expertise with object-oriented design and n-tier system architecture;
4. Solid understanding and hands-on experience with relational database design for major business applications;
5. Strong communication and interpersonal skills with both technical and business users;
6. Very fluent English language skills;
7. Good Chinese speaking and reading skills.

Desired skills:

1. Professional working experience in the education financing industry;
2. Microsoft dot net framework and SQL Server database;
3. Ability to create, manage and enhance customer relationship.

Our company is based in San Jose, CA. This position will be based in Phoenix, Arizona at the customer’s site. The job will require a daily working schedule that will cover part of the US working hours and part of the China working hours.
