Responsibilities:
Conceives end-effect or design
Specifies structural sizing using industry standard best practices
Specifies actuators for proper operation, reliability, maintainability and cost effective construction
Leads concept and design reviews to optimize performance, overall cost and component /process reuse
Develops engineering work plan for assigned components consistent with program objectives.
Tracks program timing related to design, release, component MRD and build--- follows tool through to customer acceptance.
Initiates Design Work Orders and reviews designs to ensure objectives are maintained.
Assists in developing engineering expenditures required to achieve program objectives.

Originates or reviews and approves all program engineering releases and change using the Product Change Notification (PCN) process
Provides engineering management with program status updates on a regular basis.
Assists in reviewing and updating corporate engineering procedures
Reviews and updates job performance objectives periodically to reflect new information and new technology.

Requirements:
Candidate must possess minimum a Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering or Equivalent Engineering Degree
In-depth knowledge of material handling tooling and their use in the plant
Minimum 3 years working experience in electronics or mechanical engineering is required in this position.
Ability to converse in Mandarin and English is a must.
Experience working in EMS Company is a plus.
Experience in sales and marketing is a plus.
Willing to relocate to China.
