Job Responsibilities:

• benchmark available global & local electrical drive solutions together with global technology manager, global & local sourcing
• plan and implement type-test for electrical drives together with global technology manager & colleagues in R&D group
• implement selected drives to other teams and local suppliers manufacturing processes
• follow up the quality of local supplier
• give support to product releases and responsible for project management
• participate in making test plan according to test requirements, update the plan to ensure it is correct
• manage the test implementation both for type tests and production tests and evaluate testing tasks, track on succeeding testing plan, and update testing plan
• review test report and analyse testing result and provide the reasonable suggestions to related functions
• responsible for document handling, coordinate with R&D group and get some related technical support paper works for testing application and records and report
• conduct type-test according to testing requirements and standards, including managing all components tests, production certificates and test preparative work
• manage production testing done by suppliers: participate in defining the requirements for production testers, monitor the quality and yield of the testing, and manage improvements, make analysis of returned components and perform corrective actions


Key Requirements:

• a bachelor’s or master’s degree in power electronics or automation
• at least three years’ experience in Power Electronics & Motor or Motion control
• electrical design skill, analysis skills and methods, knowledge of different testing methods
• elevator or escalator technology knowledge an asset
• fluent oral and written English
