Our client is a foreign B2B publisher in Beijing specialized in publishing magazines in the technical industry area.


Position overview:

The Senior Advertising Sales person will be responsible for the business to business advertising sales and contact and develop new customers, sign contracts and maintain relations with national advertisers in order to renew bigger contracts and collect payments from advertisers and attend exhibitions and events

Requirements:

- Native Chinese
- Ability to learn and use new selling skills
- Confident, responsible, aggressive and result oriented
- Integrity, dynamic, hard working and independent
- Very good interpersonal skills and team work spirit
- Microsoft office skills (good usage of Excel)
- Excellent cold calling skills and face to face meetings
- Two years of experience in Advertising Sales for magazines

Nice to have but not required:

- Knowledge of technical magazine selling 
- Ability to smile and win people over in a genuine manner
- Bilingual - Chinese & English

Duties and responsibilities: 

- Contact and develop new customers
- Sign advertising contracts
- Maintain relation with national advertisers in order to renew bigger contracts
- Collect payments from advertisers
- Attend national exhibitions and national events

Compensation:

3000-4000rmb a month and 8 percent commission on what is sold, average monthly income around 13K
