Job Responsibilities:
· actively search, analyse and assess new and better suppliers (in quality, cost, delivery time) continuously and build up supply chain according to global instructions
· participate in the contracts negotiation for motor materials
· standardise and simplify purchase and delivery processes to promote the efficiency and effectiveness
· coordinate with suppliers to secure delivery quality and follow up problems concerning supply quality
· participate in the company's global sourcing whenever needed
· support regular reporting of unit KPI’s including monthly budget / forecast data
· responsible for set targets and deliverables defined by the sourcing unit manager / director and sourcing manager
· follow and adhere to the company sourcing policies and operating procedure
· identify and communicate potential local alternative supplier products / offerings to sourcing unit manager / director and sourcing manager
· responsible for the defined sections of local spending and supplier relationships
· participate in supplier negotiation, selection and management based on the company strategic sourcing processes
Key Requirements:
· bachelor degree or above in the technical or commercial fields
· minimum five years' or equivalent experience in sourcing or supply chain
· strong background in casting / machining highly preferred
· proven project management / cross-functional team skills
· fluent communication skills in English, other languages are an asset
· capabilities to communicate or collaborate effectively with people in different levels and functions
· analytical and strategic thinking, strong management skills to meet changes
· excellent negotiation skills; understanding of the BENIM-process is an asset
· team and results-oriented with high energy and integrity
