Our client is a leading European manufacturer of steel tubes with operations and factories all over the world. For its new production plant near Shanghai/China, we are looking for a Mechanical or Production Engineer to support the production team in China.
Responsibilities:
· Responsible for the production process and machine maintenance
· Report technical problems to and communicate with the headquarters in Germany
· Specialist approach to technical problems, handling of measuring equipment
Requirements:
- University degree or vocational training in Mechanical Engineering
- 2 – 3 years of work experience, ideally in the field of metal processing
- Communicative, willing to network among colleagues and contacts
- Practice orientated, flexible and open-minded personality
- Fluent in English, orally and written
- German as mother tongue or fluent in the level of native speaker
- Affinity to Chinese culture
Training
• Before taking up the position in China, training will be provided for six months in Germany
