To manage and lead all supply line related activities in the mobile phones’ demand supply network for defined commodity area(s) to get best technology, availability, cost and quality to meet business targets

Responsible for enabling the global mobile phones’ manufacturing footprint to be a competitive advantage for both ODM and OEM customers

Strategic development and tactical execution of the global sourcing in order to provide the best total solution for mobile phone and the customer

Overall responsibility on development and functionality of respective supply line(s) including technology development, competitive total cost and overall quality based on their strategies and measured by defined metrics.

We are searching for a true leader, change-agent, and collaborative director with a successful history of leading procurement and sourcing initiatives within high-volume, lean manufacturing companies.

PRINCIPLE ACCOUNTABILITIES:

Ø       Lead and direct sourcing teams in identifying, communicating and implementing sourcing strategies and Supply Chain Management best practices.  Skills in managing teams that report directly and indirectly to this position are required.

Ø       Develop, implement, and maintain policies, procedures, and material control systems and metrics to reduce costs, streamline procedures, and implement solutions. 

Ø       Establish successful relationships with suppliers on a country, regional or global basis to ensure the availability of materials in the supply chain, as scheduled, and the maintenance of inventory at minimum acceptable levels.

Ø       Responsible for sourcing and supplying raw materials, utilities and outside services, as well coordinating global procurement efforts. 

Ø       Work with the Global Commodity Management (GCM) team on sourcing strategies, including supplier selection, risk analysis, second sourcing opportunities and capacity management.

Ø       Coordinate with finance/accounting on matters involving inventory-carrying costs.  Review and plan requirements for acceptable inventory. 

Ø       Selects, develops, and evaluates personnel to ensure the efficient operation of the function.

Ø       Will regularly interact with executives and major clients.  Interactions normally will involve influencing and or persuading customers and negotiations. 

Ø       We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven leader with a solid record in directing execution and developing the necessary functional and process competencies in order to deliver turnkey product in a rapid response time frame at the lowest possible costs.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

Ø       BS or other technical degree and minimum of 10 years of procurement, purchasing, strategic sourcing leadership success across high volume manufacturing industries.

Ø       Supply chain expertise evidenced by implementation of supplier management programs that tracked cost, quality and on time delivery

Ø       Proven ability to work independently and handle fast paced environment

Ø       A high level of motivation with enthusiastic, entrepreneurial drive and commitment

Ø       Requires strong written, verbal and negotiation skills coupled with highly developed interpersonal skills, strong problem solving, analytical and project management skills
